Schuylar Van Alen’s blood legacy is coming into question. Is she really a Blue Blood? Or is it the evil Silver Blood that is in her veins? As controversy erupts, Schuylar is stuck in the Force household, because of the death of her grandmother. She is trapped under the roof of her nemesis, Mimi Force, and her forbidden crush, Jack Force. But when the Silver Bloods breach a place of power in Rio de Janeiro, Schuylar is needed by the Blue Bloods. The battle is bloody and the stakes are high. Schuylar is torn between love and passion, responsibility and liberty. But in the end, someone’s secret identity is revealed in a revelation that shocks everyone.
I thought this book was okay, it was a little on the boring side, but it did have a few good fight scenes at the end, so that’s a plus!

The title says it all for this book. Eighth grade literally bites for Vladimir Tod. Every day, Vlad is harassed by the gang of school bullies, the principal watches him constantly, and the girl he likes prefers his best friend. And he has to constantly keep the secret that he is a vampire. When the one teacher he really connects with disappears, Vlad has to find him. All while learning more about his dead parents, fighting the bullies, dodging the principal and trying to get a date to the next dance.
I thought this book was really awesome. I really liked how the author incorporated a complicated vampire life into the body of an eighth grader. It makes it really easy to relate to Vladimir Tod. I promise you’ll like this book!

In this book, Janie has to make a final choice. She has to choose which way she wants to live out the rest of her life. Either she says with Cabel, goes blind and crippled by her twenties, or she lives in isolation, and everything will be fine (or so she thinks). Janie isn’t sure which one will be the right choice. But, when a stranger finds his way into her confusing life, the future which she was going to choose changes with the new information she obtains.
I was super sad when I finished this book, because it is the last in the series (hence “Trilogy”). But I thought this was a perfect ending to Janie’s story!

I know, I know, it took me absolutely FOREVER to find and read this book. But anyway, I feel that it was totally worth the wait.
So, Zoey Redbird has an absolutely complicated life. First of all, she has three boyfriends. Yes, I did say three. She has human Heath, vampire fledging Erik and Loren, the older vampyre. Also, her best friend, Stevie Rae, who kind of died, isn’t really dead. She isn’t alive, but she isn’t dead. But anyway, Stevie Rae is some creepy creation that was made by no one other than Neferet! Totally surprising, right? And now, since Zoey knows about Neferet’s secret, the High Priestess is her sworn enemy.
The ending to the third book in the House of Night Series has absolutely unexpected twist. I didn’t even see it coming. I promise, this is a fabulous book. If you liked the others, you’ll like this one even more.

Schuyler Van Alen is back and is searching for an explanation for the mysterious deaths of the young Blue Bloods. She travels to Venice, Italy. While looking for the one person who can help –her grandfather – she relies on her human friend, Oliver, for assistance. But, back in New York, everyone is preparing for the Four Hundred Ball. The Ball is an exclusive party for the wealthy, powerful, wealthy and, most importantly, the vampires. It is a true Blue Blood affair.
But at the after-party, a masquerade held by the one and only Mimi Force, is where the real danger is. Hidden behind the masks is something that will change an adolescent vampire’s future forever.
If you liked Blue Bloods, you’ll like this one, because Masquerade is just as clever as the first.

In a small town which sixteen-year-old Raven – a vampire-crazed, goth girl – calls “Dullsville”, there is a rumored-to-be-haunted mansion at the top of a steep hill. It’s vacant and has been boarded up for years. Then, a creepy family moves in suddenly. The whole town is talking about them – who are these people? Most importantly what are they? Are they actually vampires? Who is the mysterious Alexander Sterling?
Ellen Schreiber’s haunting romance tells the story of two outcasts who fall in love and ends the book with a shocking surprise.

Chloe Saunders and her friends Derek, Simon and Tori are on the run from the Edison Group. All four of them possess a power that the Edison Group wants to control. Chloe talks to ghosts, Simon and Tori are sorcerers, and Derek is a werewolf. Although these kids are dealing with developing their supernatural powers, they still experience the usual teen issues. They all need someone to help them get away from the Edison group. Or they will die trying.
All in all, I really liked this book. I thought it was the perfect sequel to the Summoning, and I cannot wait to read the next book: the Reckoning.

James Patterson has done it again. This is another amazing book. I know, I know. I say the same thing every time I blog about his books. But oh well. Get used to it.
This book was better than I thought it would be. This one is even more suspenseful and surprising than the previous books in the series. Max, Fang, Iggy, the Gasman, Nudge and Angel have to stop Itex and its plan to take over and destroy the world as we know it. Fang works more on his blog, warning the Internet world of what’s going on. Max discovers huge, unexpected surprises about herself and who her true parents really are. And she must continue her fight to save the world.
But can they all save the world when their flock is torn apart, in hiding and halfway across the world from one another?

When Schuylar Van Alen turns fifteen, she’s in for a big surprise. Her life changes dramatically. Blue veins start to show more prominently on her arms. She craves raw meat. And the death of a popular fellow classmate haunts her.
She learns more about New York’s most elite families, whose ancestors sailed the Mayflower. They are rich and powerful…and not human. They are the Blue Bloods, a group of ancient vampires.
I thought this book was completely original, totally intelligent and I’m sure if you love vampires, you’ll love this book!
