Zoey Redbird was just an average girl before she was Marked a vampyre. After leaving her uncaring family, ex-best friend, and ex-almost-boyfriend behind, she goes to the dark House of Night, where she learns all about her new life. At her new school, Zoey meets new people and makes new friends; Stevie Rae, Damien, Shaunee, and Erin would do anything for her.
While Zoey is training to become an adult vampyre, she realizes that she isn’t an average vampyre fledging. She has been gifted with amazing powers; she has been chosen special by the Goddess Nyx. But, she finds out that she isn’t the only one at the House of Night with special powers. And when she discovers that the leader of the Dark Daughters, the elite vampyre group, is misusing those powers, Zoey knows it’s up to her and her friends to put a stop to it.
This is an absolutely amazing book filled with originality.

Haha, same with me, Kate. As soon as I started this book, I loved it. The series does just keep getting better and better as it goes on. 🙂

when i first got this book at walmart i was like OHMAHGOD! it was AHMAZING! i loved it. the series is the BEST! im reading chosen now and its really good, so i hope the series just keeps on getting better.
