**If you haven’t read previous books, don’t read!**

The revolution that Katniss Everdeen only imagined about has begun. District 12 is in ashes. District 13 is real. Peeta is captured. The Capitol is killing innocent people by the minute, and the rebels are taking action. But Katniss is still part of the puzzle, part of this rebellion that has been planned since Katniss went into the Quarter Quell. The leaders of District 13 and the rebels want her to be the Mockingjay – the face of the rebellion. To do this, she has to accept the responsibility for all the lives lost during this war. No matter the cost, Katniss must be the Mockingjay.
Personally, I love the Hunger Games books, I really do. And I was really, really excited for this book to finally come out, although I’m sad it’s over. But truthfully, Mockingjay wasn’t as good as I expected. It’s definitely not the best in the series. It felt really rushed, especially towards the end. And at the end, it just kind of ended. The end. Done. I don’t know, I feel like there could have been a lot more.
Anyway, although this book wasn’t the best it could have been, it was still pretty good!

The sequel to the amazing book, The Huger Games, is as breath-taking and suspenseful as the first.

Life is good for the 74th Hunger Games winners, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark. They’ve got all the money they need to help their families survive in District 12. But, before their Victory Tour, Katniss receives a visit from Panem’s President Snow. He informs her that her and Peeta’s suicide act at the end of the Hunger Games sparked rebellion among the Districts. As the Victory Tour moves on, they realize the Capitol is angry. They defied the Hunger Game’s Gamemakers, and they want revenge.

When the victors return to District 12, they hear surprising news about the 75th Anniversary, the Third Quarter Quell. Not only is there going to be another game, but two victors from each district will be reaped, to go back into the area. Not only are Peeta and Katniss going back into the Games, but they know why the Capitol did this. They want to get rid of the rebellion-igniters. Back in the area, they realize who they can and can’t trust. And in the end, all of Panem realizes who will be the real victor.

This remarkable book tells the story of sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives in District 12 of the country Panem, which lies where North American used to be. Every year, the middle city of Panem, called the Capitol, hold the Hunger Games. There is a boy and a girl selected from each of the twelve Districts. The Hunger Games are held in a big area, consisting of any type of terrain. The main point of the Games is to be the last one standing. Everyone else must die

Katniss volunteers herself to this brutal game instead of her younger sister. Survival for Katniss is almost second nature, so she thinks she might even win the Games. During training, she gets one of the highest scores, and everyone’s betting on her to win. Through all the interviews, makeovers, training and the game itself, Katniss needs to make choices that jeopardize survival, humanity, life, friendship and love.
