**If you haven’t read previous books, don’t read!**

This book picks up right after Zoey and everyone else banishes Kalona and Neferet from Tulsa. In the beginning, Zoey is filled with angst and confusion, (which kind of gets annoying after a while, just to let you know.) Memories from Zoey’s past life as A-ya, the woman created to trap Kalona thousands of years ago, flood her memories and dreams. And Kalona is also trying to use Zoey and convince her that he is not evil, he is only evil with Neferet and he can be good with her, by getting into her dreams.
Throughout this book, the point of view switches to Stevie Rae, and she gets really annoying. Like truthfully, I found myself not even wanting to read anymore because the couple chapters she had annoyed and bored me so much.
Anyway, all this crazy stuff goes down in the end of the book, and it changes everything. The ending itself was confusing, and a definite cliff-hanger. If the Casts didn’t have this ending to tempted, I truthfully wouldn’t read the next book, Burned. I wasn’t too impressed with Tempted.

Zoey Redbird and her friends Damien, Aphrodite, Erin, Shaunee, Stevie Rae, the red fledging vampyres and a Son of Erebus named Darius, are on the run from the evil, fallen angel, Kalona and Neferet, who has refused to follow Nyx. Everything is at stake. Zoey is the one destined to finally rid the world of Kalona, who has been stuck in the earth for more than a thousand years. She is the only thing that can save the House of Night. But the one thing is Kalona appears in her dreams. Can she resist him? Everything relies on following one poem, written by a red fledging vampyre; hopefully Zoey can get it right.
So, I’m sure you all know that I absolutely LOVE the House of Night Series, and I’m sure you’re all tired of me saying it. Oh well. Anyway, I think this is the best book series I’ve read in a while. Every book captivates me from the first paragraph. These books just have something about it that makes me never want to put it down. If you thought Chose and Untamed changed everything, wait until you read Hunted!

Zoey Redbird has a lot of problems. First of all, there have been two deaths at the House of Night, and there might be more to come. Second, she is no longer speaking with Erik or Heath. Third, Stevie Rae is back from the undead and is a new type of vamp. Fourth, Aphrodite is a human. And finally, Neferet isn’t what she seems. Nothing can be worse than this. And when Zoey and her friends find out about a prophecy that is about to come true, everything goes wrong, and before they know it, they’re running for their lives and trying to save the House of Night.
The Casts never fail to amaze me. I love, love, LOVE their books so, so much. I love how the incorporate the Cherokee culture into their story about vampires. It’s so interesting and completely original.

I know, I know, it took me absolutely FOREVER to find and read this book. But anyway, I feel that it was totally worth the wait.
So, Zoey Redbird has an absolutely complicated life. First of all, she has three boyfriends. Yes, I did say three. She has human Heath, vampire fledging Erik and Loren, the older vampyre. Also, her best friend, Stevie Rae, who kind of died, isn’t really dead. She isn’t alive, but she isn’t dead. But anyway, Stevie Rae is some creepy creation that was made by no one other than Neferet! Totally surprising, right? And now, since Zoey knows about Neferet’s secret, the High Priestess is her sworn enemy.
The ending to the third book in the House of Night Series has absolutely unexpected twist. I didn’t even see it coming. I promise, this is a fabulous book. If you liked the others, you’ll like this one even more.

As Zoey Redbird finally settles into the House of Night and feels like she belongs, more problems arise. First of all, she’s having boy problems. And nothing is going too well with that. However, the bigger issue is that humans are being killed all around the House of Night area. The whole state thinks the vampyres are the culprits, although the vamps are completely innocent…at least the fledglings might be. Zoey then realizes that she is more powerful than she, or anyone else knows. Also, these powers could maybe even threaten everyone that she loves. Then, death strikes the House of Night; and in the end, Zoey has to find the bravery to face a betrayal that could ruin everything.

Zoey Redbird was just an average girl before she was Marked a vampyre. After leaving her uncaring family, ex-best friend, and ex-almost-boyfriend behind, she goes to the dark House of Night, where she learns all about her new life. At her new school, Zoey meets new people and makes new friends; Stevie Rae, Damien, Shaunee, and Erin would do anything for her.

While Zoey is training to become an adult vampyre, she realizes that she isn’t an average vampyre fledging. She has been gifted with amazing powers; she has been chosen special by the Goddess Nyx. But, she finds out that she isn’t the only one at the House of Night with special powers. And when she discovers that the leader of the Dark Daughters, the elite vampyre group, is misusing those powers, Zoey knows it’s up to her and her friends to put a stop to it.
This is an absolutely amazing book filled with originality.
