Chloe Saunders and her friends Derek, Simon and Tori are on the run from the Edison Group. All four of them possess a power that the Edison Group wants to control. Chloe talks to ghosts, Simon and Tori are sorcerers, and Derek is a werewolf. Although these kids are dealing with developing their supernatural powers, they still experience the usual teen issues. They all need someone to help them get away from the Edison group. Or they will die trying.
All in all, I really liked this book. I thought it was the perfect sequel to the Summoning, and I cannot wait to read the next book: the Reckoning.

Chloe Saunders can see dead people. Yes, actual dead people. But, unfortunately she get’s sent away to the Lyle House, and her ability to see ghosts was covered up as Chloe being schizophrenic. But the Lyle House isn’t what it seems. It houses other “crazy” teenagers, and one of them disappeared after admitted she had a poltergeist. Strange, paranormal things keep happening, and Chloe needs to help of her not-so-crazy friends to figure out what’s going on.
I read this book over the summer and I absolutely loved it. I really liked the whole crazy kids’ house idea and how they cover up real powers as psychological disorders. I’m sure anyone who loves paranormal, suspenseful thrillers will love this book!
