Max and the flock are in trouble again. Angel says Fang will be the first to die. Soon. And after meeting Dr. Hans in Africa, Max left right away. Something just wasn’t right about that guy. Dr. Hans introduced Max to her “perfect other half”. Another human-bird hybrid named Dylan. How could Dylan be her perfect other half when she had Fang? And are Dr. Hans and Dylan just a part of the plot to kill Fang?
Whoa, okay…what happened? This book was actually somewhat…good.
That’s right. FANG actually had a plot, unlike the fourth and fifth book in this series, The Final Warning and MAX. The only thing I couldn’t stand whatsoever about this book was the “romance” part to it. Okay. I understand if Max and Fang like each other. Whatever. But I don’t think anyone can find their “soul mate” at fifteen. Like really? That’s kind of corny and unrealistic. And it kind of got annoying how Max being with Fang was basically the whole point of the book and the other characters just got shoved to the side, fought some Erasers and got tested on. But hey – this book at least had a plot.
Excited for the next one? I sure don’t know.

I’m sad to day it, but the Maximum Ride books are getting worse and worse as they go on. MAX absolutely had no main plot and was very, very boring.
From what I got out of it, MAX was about how Max and the flock having to save Max’s mom from some Corporation who was against this thing called the CSM, who was raising awareness for global warming and pollution…I think. I think the Corporation who kidnapped Max’s mom was trying to get the CSM to stop whatever they were doing… But as Max and her friends tried to save her mom, they somehow had to go to a type of military boot camp, get training, and then were stuck on a submarine. So basically half of the book was filled with Max whining about claustrophobia, Angel not listening to a word Max says, and a very cheesy and cliché love relationship between Max and Fang.
Oh, and what’s with the title? MAX? Really? That is the most uncreative title I have ever seen. It’s actually kind of sad. Overall, I wasn’t excited to read this book to begin with, and it didn’t turn out to be good at all. And I have searched this book on the Internet, and almost every review I have seen for it has said that it was a good book. Really, I don’t understand how anyone could even say it was relatively “capturing” at the least. I was bored the whole time while reading it. And I am definitely not going to rush to read the next book, titled FANG.

So the day has finally come. I actually didn’t like this James Patterson book. I know, I know, it is quite a shock. But this book wasn’t as good as the others in the Maximum Ride series.
Max and her friends have a mission, and they’re going to Antarctica to fulfill that mission. What’s this task, you ask? To learn about and spread awareness of global warming.
Yes, global warming. That’s the one thing I didn’t understand. This series, Maximum Ride, completely changed directions. It went from an action-filled adventure with a somewhat convincing plotline to a global warming propaganda rag with plot holes and little character development.
Okay, so I know James Patterson was doing this whole global warming thing for a good cause or whatever, but really? Maximum Ride defeating……global warming? I just didn’t get it. But whatever, the next book hopefully will be better.

James Patterson has done it again. This is another amazing book. I know, I know. I say the same thing every time I blog about his books. But oh well. Get used to it.
This book was better than I thought it would be. This one is even more suspenseful and surprising than the previous books in the series. Max, Fang, Iggy, the Gasman, Nudge and Angel have to stop Itex and its plan to take over and destroy the world as we know it. Fang works more on his blog, warning the Internet world of what’s going on. Max discovers huge, unexpected surprises about herself and who her true parents really are. And she must continue her fight to save the world.
But can they all save the world when their flock is torn apart, in hiding and halfway across the world from one another?

Maximum Ride and her friends whom she considers family are in for another epic adventure. They’re on the run again from the scientists at the School, and the sadistic Erasers. But this time, there’s a twist. They get the offer of a lifetime – to live a normal life. But nothing is what it seems. Ari, Max’s old friend who was turned into an Eraser, is still out to get her, but is bringing someone else along. Max needs to prove that she can defeat the School and save the world.
Once again, James Patterson’s books amaze me. I thought this one was quite exceptional. All I can say is to read this series.

This is yet another amazing book by James Patterson. Seriously, I cannot put into words how much I love and adore his writing and book ideas. This book is the first in a series, and it is about six children (Max, Fang, Iggy, the Gasman, Nudge and Angel) without parents, without families. They were experiments, and the weird thing is – they have wings. As they’re on the run from the sadistic Erasers, they journey to find their youngest, recently captured friend, Angel. These pages are full of action-packed suspense and the dark humor of Maximum Ride. I highly suggest this book, and I cannot wait until I read the rest of the series!

Wisty Allgood is a witch, and her brother, Whit, is a wizard. Whit and Wisty are captured and taken away from their family by the New Order and are both sentenced to immediate execution. The One Who is the One said that there was a prophecy made about them both, about how they would soon save the world from the New Order and free the captured children.

This was just a really good book, James Patterson is a really, really good writer, and I can’t wait for the next Witch & Wizard book to come out. But the thing I liked the most about this book was the whole plot. I guess you cans say I’m a sucker for magic. Also, the main characters had charisma, they were totally easy to connect to and understand. But most of all, in the end the main lesson was to seize the moment, and to never stay quiet and just do what is given to us.
