To Kill a Mockingbird

My Rating: 5 stars

I don’t think I can describe how much I loved watching this movie. I got to watch it in school, and I feel like some of the kids didn’t enjoy the movie as much as I did. The movie was almost exactly like the book, but with few plot changes to keep everyone interested and the story moving along. There were even some direct quotes from the book – word-for-word quotes. I love when that happens. I feel like the girl who played Scout was perfect. She looked exactly like I pictured her in my head while reading the book. Jem was pretty close to how I imagined him too. I thought Atticus would have looked a little bit older, but I like the way he was depicted. Overall, this movie is great. I went in with high expectations, because I loved the book, and I was satisfied.
