2009!

Hey everyone! 2009 was definitely a great year, and I know that 2010 is going to be even better!
I think the best series I read in 2009 had to be all the books by Ellen Hopkins (Crank, Burned, Identical, Impulse, Glass, Tricks), and the Hunger Games books by Suzanne Collins.

A lot of good books and movies came out in 2009 like:
-Blood Promise (Vampire Academy #4) by Richelle Mead
-The Awakening (Darkest Powers #2) by Kelley Armstrong
-Tricks by Ellen Hopkins
-Catching Fire (Hunger Games #2) by Suzanne Collins
-Fade (Wake Trilogy #2) by Lisa McMann
-Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince movie
-New Moon movie
And a whole lot more!

I am super excited for the new books coming out in 2010 like:
-The third book to the Wake trilogy by Lisa McMann, “Gone”, in stores February 9th, 2010
-May 1st 2010: “the Reckoning” by Kelley Armstrong, the third book to the Darkest Powers series
-On May 18th 2010: “Spirit Bound” by Richelle Mead, the 5th book in the Vampire Academy series
-The third book to the “Crank” story by Ellen Hopkins titled “Fallout”, which is rumored to come out September 14th, 2010
-“Witch and Wizard” Book 2 by James Patterson supposedly is going to come out December 13th, 2010

I can’t wait to read all these books, and I’m sure there are going to be a lot more coming out soon. I’ll make sure I read them and write a blog! Also, if you have any book suggestions, please leave a comment. Thanks!

You should read The Chocolate War by Robert Cormier. Its about this boy named Jerry who goes to this all boys prep high school. There he has to sell chocolates for their annual sale, but he chooses not to. When he does that he finds how truly corrupted the world can be and he asks himself that one question: do I dare disturb the universe?
